Ormolu mantle clock by Achille Brocot
Circa 1825
Eminent maker and Inventor of the much copied pin pallet dead
beat escapement and the adjustable pendulum suspension. This clock
in a fine quality Ormolu case surmounted with a Classical figure and
with patent Brocot visible escapement. Striking hours and half
hours on a bell, two week duration.
